Kearney named to BET Honors
Beverly ‘Bev’ Kearney, the head track & field coach of the University of Texas, has been named to the list of stars for BET Honors. The fifth annual show from the BET Networks rewards achievements in music, literature, entertainment, media, service and education. Kearney will be recognized for her lifetime achievement to African-American culture along with legends including Maya Angelou, Stevie Wonder, Spike Lee and Mariah Carey.
