Christine Ohuruogu determined to resurrect her injury-plagued career in time for London 2012 Olympics

The rebuilding will begin in earnest next month when the 26 year-old travels to Jamaica to train alongside Usain Bolt.

Ohuruogu was Britain’s only gold medallist on the track in Beijing in 2008 but, since then, two underachieving seasons have left her the forgotten woman of British athletics.

This year she managed just four 400-metre races all summer, the last at the Bislett Games in Oslo in June, after breaking down in training with a quadraceps muscle tear.
