Olympic Fever
Published by
I caught the fever last night. Did you? I was probably up too late watching the opening ceremonies but I was working on The Running Works video so not at all productivity was lost. The last opening ceremonies I remember so vividly were those from the '96 Games in Atlanta and Beijing blew those out of the water. It was especially awe inspiring watching good friends from my university team representing their countries during the Parade of Nations. They're proof of what can happen when you chase your dreams. That's my good friend Brian Dzingia carrying the flag for Zimbabwe last night. He'll run the 200 and 4x1. Even though cross country isn't an Olympic sport, all the pageantry got me pumped for this up coming season. I can't wait to go get my run in later this afternoon. Speaking of upcoming season, I'll be looking for some races to run this fall. If you guys have any suggestions shoot me a message. Watching you all race is going to leave me with the thirst to get back out there myself. Anyways, you guys keep up miles and I'll see you soon (yes, Midwest, I'll be back soon). Make sure you check out the video from Running Works at Blair. Chris
