World champs Clement without shoe contract

BOSTON; USA: World 400m hurdles champion Kerron Clement is without a shoe contract. Clement and Nike, who he represented for five years, partedcompany recently.

“I guess I have done all that I could throughout the five years I signed with Nike,” noted Clement in a flotrack.com interview.

“I guess it wasn’t good enough,” he said while noting, “They tried to cut me”. He also said they wanted to offer him very little, hinting that this was far less than what he was getting in the past.
