Coach Paragas pulls inspiration from Arthur Lydiard, Jack Daniels, and his own athletic experience to coach one of the top high school cross country programs in the country.  His practice of cutting runners early into the season doesn’t hurt participation and fits in philosophically with trying to give more attention to kids who put in more work.  He outlines his program in this interview.
